If you’d like to sell metals that are currently in your possession or at a 3rd party vault location, you will first need to mail the metals to our mail-in storage facility at IDS – Dallas. To initiate the mail-in request, you can open your GoldSilver profile and complete the following steps (the screenshot below is just a sample and is not indicative of your personal portfolio.) Please note that your account must be fully verified and approved in order to access the Mail-In feature.
1. To start a Mail-in Storage request, log into your account and select the “Start a Mail-In Storage Request” option under your holdings
2. Enter the products and quantity you wish to store with us.
3. Select “Send Request”
Once the request is sent, our team will provide a packing slip that includes the inventory list for you to place inside the shipment.
Please Note: Your sellback price is not locked in until you initiate your sellback after the metals are checked into storage.
After the metals have been checked into storage, you may initiate your sellback by following the instructions below.
1. Login to your GoldSilver account online and scroll down until you see HOLDINGS
2. Select SELL
3. Choose which assets you would like to sell.
4. Enter the quantity, e.g. 1
5. Acknowledge all sales are final and select CONFIRM
