Yes, you can still buy or sell on GoldSilver even if you use an external vault.
Purchasing for a third-party vault:
While our Brinks and IDS vaults are fully integrated into our checkout system for seamless transactions, we also support customers who use their own third-party vaults. This includes vaults like Cube, Delaware Depository, Viamat/Loomis, or any other vault provider you prefer.
To have a third-party vault address verified for shipping, we require a notarized letter confirming the vault's address. Please contact our customer support team at support@goldsilver.com for an approved notarized letter template.
Please note that due to anti-fraud measures from payment processors, credit or debit card orders may not be processed for shipments to a third-party vault address. However, other payment methods should work without issue.
To sell to from a third-party vault:
Start Your Mail-In Storage Request: Begin by initiating your Mail-In Storage request Mail In your metals first.
Submit Your Inventory List: Once you submit your inventory list, we will provide you with a shipping address and packing slip for sending your metals. Instruct your vault provider to send the metals to the address we provide, making sure the packing slip is included in the shipment.
Sellback Process: After your metals are checked into storage, you can initiate a sellback directly through your account. Detailed instructions for the sellback process can be found How to Sell Metals you have in your possession.
Please Note: Some third-party vault providers may only ship directly to you, often for security reasons. If this is the case, you will need to receive the package at your home and then forward it to our storage facility.
