Can I take a cash distribution from my IRA?

Yes. If you already have a cash balance within your IRA, contact your IRA custodian directly to complete the distribution paperwork. They will process the funds back to your selected payment method. Since the IRA custodian manages the funds, we do not need to be involved in or notified of these transactions.

If you need to sell prior to the distribution, you can do this online during live trading hours or give us a call!

Can I take a distribution in physical metals (in-kind distribution)?

Yes. If you would like to receive the actual metals rather than cash, please contact us first. Since we have the relationship with the depository, we can assist with shipping and insurance fees and help with any paperwork needed to complete the request.

Can I process a physical metals delivery request on my own?

If your IRA cash balance is sufficient to cover the delivery fees, you can submit the request online yourself. However, if you need a shipping and insurance quote, or if you need to send non-IRA funds (via check or wire) to cover any fees, it is best to reach out to our team for assistance.
